I discovered Modoc County, many years ago, while visiting the area with friends on hunting trips.  Modoc County and the community left a lasting impression on me, and in 2012, when a job opportunity became available in Alturas, I jumped at the chance to relocate to Modoc.  

With several years of experience in the healthcare field, I became well acquainted with many residents across the county. 

I bring a strong background in project and administrative management to my new role as Modoc Fire Safe Council’s Defensible Space Project Coordinator position, where my skills and community connections are already making an impact. I’ve been focused on teamwork and collaboration, leading to successful wildfire prevention solutions and outcomes for our community
