Modoc District Fair and Fandango Days 2025

Our booth at both events featured hands-on learning experiences designed to make fire safety approachable and memorable. Children enjoyed a game where they used a water fire extinguisher and a wildland water pack to put out fake flames, giving them a playful introduction to the tools firefighters use and the importance of quick action in fire safety. Adults received educational materials to bring home, ensuring that fire prevention lessons reached households across the community.

By partnering with CAL FIRE, USFS, and BLM, we delivered a unified message about wildfire preparedness and prevention. These events offered an opportunity to connect directly with residents, answer questions, and share resources that strengthen resilience across Modoc County.
