Kaira was born and raised in Modoc County and has seen firsthand how a small community looks out for its own. Whether it's a holiday celebration, a public safety effort, or a student milestone, Modoc shows up. That sense of connection is what drew her to this work. As Resource Specialist, she coordinates the Defensible Space Program and supports the Fire Safe Council's education and outreach efforts, helping connect residents with the programs and resources available to them.
